How does it work?

Cheek fillers are made of Hyaluronic Acid which is a substance naturally occurring in the body in high concentrations. Hyaluronic Acid is a sugar chain molecule found in the body naturally. It attracts and binds water in the skin to provide a gentle, natural looking volume.

Therefore It is an internal natural hydrator: the more we have, the healthier our skin is providing the structure and support to ensure the skin is plump and healthy. As we age, the levels decrease, meaning that the skin becomes less supported. That allows lines and wrinkles to develop and volume loss to occur.

It is especially noticeable in the cheeks, where volume loss occurs and the face moves downwards. Dermal Fillers can be injected below the skin’s surface to support hyaluronic acid layers and replace collagen.

This can help to lift and smooth targeted folds and wrinkles by replenishing and adding subtle volume. The key to natural-looking results is restoring balance across the face and adding volume back where it should be.

The treatment will instantly smooth away wrinkles, lines, and most scars and add volume to skin contour deficiencies. Treatment time is usually 45 minutes. Topical anaesthetic is applied to ensure the treatment is comfortable for you.
